Bamboo Acrobat's sixth album may be more upbeat than its predecessors, but that doesn't mean the theme of exploring darkness has been abandoned.

"It's about confronting the demons of the past so you can move on and live in relative peace and love," the 39 year-old musician and Florida native says. "Last year I moved back to Florida after 10 years of teaching in Korea, so that's also where the title comes from; it's definitely warmer here all year round."

Beat-laden and incorporating mellotron, FM synthesis, piano, samples, and spoken word poetry, A Warmer Place is a hopeful addition to Bamboo Acrobat's discography and the electronic music genre.
